Joy lives in North Port with her husband Mike, who is a school teacher. They’ve been here in SW Florida since 1987 so they’re almost natives! They were attracted by the climate and enjoy fishing, biking, baseball and each other’s company. They have two children (a boy and a girl) and four grandchildren (two boys and two girls). They are very proud of their children and grandchildren’s accomplishments, which are too many to list!

Joy is a graduate of Indiana University. Joy is active in industry and community organizations, a member of AALTCI (American Association for Long Term Care Insurance), an Independent Insurance Agent and Long Term Care Insurance Specialist and is certified in Long Term Care (CLTC). She specializes in serving the needs of Senior Adults in Life, Annuities, Senior Health (Medicare supplement products), and Health Insurance, as well as Long Term Care Insurance. “I like to help people plan for all of life’s consequences! My passion is to educate and help others with planning to help them protect their lifestyle, peace of mind, independence, and dignity.”

Joy is also very dedicated to helping others and loves supporting important causes with her other passion, Silpada Designs. Silpada Designs Jewelry is beautifully handcrafted .925 sterling silver with semi-precious stones and natural materials such as turquoise, garnet, amber, onyx, carnelian, peridot, lapis, abalone, coral, and freshwater pearls. As a fund raising partner to non-profit organizations, she donates 100% of her profits to their cause!
