Janine Thompson, RDH, Senior Manager Send Out Cards

 Janine Thompson is a true Floridian born and raised in Coral Gables, Florida.  Her father was Director of Purchasing for National Airlines and her mother was a legal secretary. Weekends were spent sailing the family 20 foot Able Sailboat on Biscayne Bay and each summer
they were fortunate enough to travel abroad.

In 1975 Janine and her father moved to Sarasota after her mother lost a battle with Cancer. Janine attended Riverview High School and was active with the Kiltie Band and played softball and basketball.  During the junior year she had the opportunity to bicycle Europe for three weeks with a youth group.
Upon graduation she attended the State College of Florida and then transferred to St. Petersburg Junior College for completion of a degree in Dental Hygiene.  Upon graduation Janine moved back to Sarasota  and began practicing Dental Hygiene.

Six years ago Janine and her Partner built their home on three acres in North Port Estates.  They have two beautiful Australian Sheppard's, Casey and Alli.  They also have two cats Diana, Siamese and Lucky, an adopted street cat who begged for a loving home and won one.

Janine Thompson has been practicing Dental Hygiene with Dr. Marc Lefton D.D.S. for the past 15 years.  Janine says "I feel fortunate to be in a field where I can help make a positive difference in helping to guide patients toward better oral hygiene. Janine's hobbies include jet skiing, biking, kayaking, four wheeling, walks on the beach and reading.

She is active in the North Port Area Chamber, North Port Area W omens Club and now in BPW.  "It's wonderful to be part of such great organizations."
