Wendy Namack, CFP®

Wendy Namack, CFP® was born in Venice, Florida and reared in suburban northern New Jersey.   She returned to Florida, graduated from Charlotte High School and then went on to the University of Florida. Five generations of her family have lived in Sarasota and Charlotte counties.

Wendy stayed at UF for 18 years – 13 years of which were serving as Assistant Director and Chief Operating Officer for the Florida Foundation for Future Scientists administering programs for high-ability precollege students on campus and throughout the state.

She also served a year as an Assistant Director for the UF Registrar’s office during which she helped edit the UF undergraduate catalog and 17 college admission brochures, reconciled UF’s Curriculum to the State’s common course numbering system and designed an accounting program for the Registrar’s office to track fund and cash accounting.

Relocating next to the Tampa Bay area, Wendy was an Operations and Management Consultant II for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Marine Research Institute in St. Petersburg. She segued into marketing at Freedom Plaza at Sun City Center.

In 1996, Wendy moved forward into her present career in financial services, now in her 14th year. In 2006, Wendy earned her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification after completing the 2-year program of study in a 6 month advanced accelerated course.  

She opened her independent practice, Namack Portfolio Investment Professionals, LLC in February, 2009 and offers securities and advisory services through Commonwealth Financial Network®, Member FINRA/SIPC, a Registered Investment Adviser.
