Women in History Month is celebrated by BPW Englewood & Venice each March.

At this special meeting, each of the women dress up a bit, or carry props to signify a woman in history.  In the photo above, Katy Malloy, Betty Swanson, Chris Davis, Carol Kouba, Joyce McCaffrey and Karin Drury each prepared a short presentation on a famous woman from history.  (See if you can guess whom each was representing!)

The Holidays are a great  time to celebrate community and friendship!

Grab your sweetheart, your friends and family, and join us on Tuesday, December 20th, from 5:30 - 9:00 for our annual holiday celebration at Boca Royale Country Club in Englewood.

We will be gathering as we do every 3rd Tuesday of each month. 
But this month, will be different!   There will be no business meeting. 

~  Bring your dancin' shoes, and your laughter too, 'cause "..we gonna celebrate and have a good time!"
~  Tony Accardi, a fabulous D.J. will play from 6 to 9.  He plays great dancing music! 
~  A delicious dinner will be served!
~  All for only $25 per person!

"Giving Theme"
This year, please we will not have a gift exchange, instead we ask that you make a donation to the ~needy families we are helping.  This year, Helping Hands told us about three single mothers and an elderly woman who are in need of help.  We will pass the envelope and dig in to help them.  They will receive food and gift items that they sorely need.  Each year we do this, and this year, it is the centerpiece of our celebration.
